Any children aged 5 upwards are welcome to come along fortnightly to the Methodist Sunday Schoolroom for fun and games with a Christian based theme.
Smile Club and Chapel New Year Party
Children from Smile Club and Chapel members with their families enjoyed the New Year's Party on Saturday 7th January.
The children all met for a bring and share tea at 6.30pm and joined in party games until 8.00pm when they were joined by the adults. There was a good variety of games provided by Pearl Hopper, Pam Colwill, Clare Horn, Carolyn Medland and Margaret Stanbury. We saw chocolate eaten with a fork, brain drains from memory games, famous faces as well as the old favourites of pass the parcel, musical mats, pictionary and other team games.
The evening was enjoyed by everyone from the youngest at almost 2 the the oldest at.... well that would be telling! The evening closed with everyone crossing arms for Auld Lang Syne, and a Wish for a Happy and Healthy 2012 for everyone.
