AGM February 21st
Whitstone Residents Association has now been in existence for one year and we will be holding our annual AGM on the 21st of February in St. Anne’s Hall at 7:30 pm. We will also be appointing a new Committee, so anyone wishing to be considered for the position of Chairman, Secretary or Treasurer should put their names forward and we will vote on the appointments during the meeting. We should also have the results of our questionnaire about the Project of providing a Playing Field and Youth Club for the Youth of Whitstone.
We are also adding to our Constitution, a Data Protection Policy, Child Protection Policy and a Complaints Procedure so that our Constitution meets all the objectives required by the ILCM (Institute of Leadership and Community Management). I hope that all people wishing for the Association to go forward will be able to attend this meeting, as if the intention of our Government is to put everything into the hands of local Parish Councils and voluntary organisations it is imperative that Whitstone has as much voice as possible.

Youth Club and Playing Field
Questionnaire
First let me wish everybody a Very Happy New Year for 2012 and hope that you all had a Very Happy Christmas.
I hope that you have all received a copy of our Questionnaire about the prospect of achieving a Youth Club and a Playing Field for all the youth in the village. Please, please it is very important that as many of you as possible fill it in and then pop it into the box that we have placed in the shop. If it is difficult for you to get to the shop please just give Ray or myself a ring and we will make arrangement to collect it from you (Phone Numbers below). The reason why it is important to receive as many completed Questionnaires as possible, is that when we go for funding to potential investors it would indicate on our application that the majority of the village are supporting the campaign. A meeting will be held sometime in February to review the results of the Questionnaire
I would also like to take this opportunity of thanking Councillor Tucker for not only printing our Questionnaires for free but he also helped deliver them to households, we cannot thank him enough for all his kindness.
