Ingredients
desert apples
melted butter
honey
Method
One of my favourite ways of cooking desert apples (instigated by a Nigel Slater recipe I came across) – gently grilling the peeled and cored halves / quarters / pieces with a little melted butter drizzled over, for 5 – 10 minutes, then turning the pieces to repeat the process. Finally spoon a little honey over the apple and grill for a few more minutes. Serve with cream or ice cream – so simple, but truly delicious!
