Ingredients

Serves 4

Oven 200° for 10-15 mins

2 garlic cloves, sliced
1 teaspoon of thyme or other herbs
fresh or sun-dried tomatoes, cut into slices
a little olive oil
4 slices of feta cheese (about 150g each)

Baked fetta cheese

Method

Oil the base of a baking pan and place on it the pieces of cheese. Lay the slices of garlic and tomato over the cheese, sprinkle on the herbs and drizzle a little olive oil over the top. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes in a preheated oven at 200°C.

Believe it or not, I have some recipe ideas to pass on to you from Germany as well – the Whistler really does travel that far! My dear friend Ulla, who lives near Stuttgart, and who teaches English to an adult group, has recently sent me a booklet of their recipe ideas, which they have translated into English. Literally as a starter, here is a little taste of what they have cooked up, (sorry!) and I will pass on more of their ideas at a later date.
