About Whitstone

Whitstone Village website is intended to give villagers and visitors information on what is going on in and around the village, to provide contact details and links to other useful sites. Individual organisation and club pages are updated regularly, also the latest news items. There are over two hundred pages and with your contributions is still growing. We have over 1,000 visitors a week to the site (view the statistics here).  Please let me know If you have anything you would like included on the site, pictures to share, or suggestions on content.

The web site was initially funded through The Whistler Committee by Grassroots Grants and Cornwall Community Foundation.

Whitstone is situated on the B3254 road, halfway between Bude (a major tourist destination) and Launceston (a former capital of Cornwall). Whitstone is around three miles from the coast, at Widemouth and surrounded by rolling hills and fields. From the higher points of the village, you can see as far as Dartmoor (to the east) and Bodmin Moor (to the south).
